Maternity Locum Cover, Glenmill Medical Practice

- Vacancy Details: We are able to offer an exciting opportunity for a locum GP to join our friendly motivated practice team at Glenmill Medical Practice to cover a period of Maternity leave. We are close to the M8 in the North East of Glasgow. Our premises are bespoke with good parking facilities.
We are a 2 partner Practice, supported by 5 salaried GPs, a GP retainer, 3 Practice Nurses, 1 Healthcare Assistant and an experienced and friendly admin team. We also have a Community Links Practitioner, good Pharmacy support, a Welfare Advice worker and an ORT Counsellor. We serve a population of approximately 7300 patients and currently use Emis/Docman. We operate a good balance of Telephone Consultations – ten minutes and Face to Face consultations – fifteen minutes, with protected administration time. Our Clinical team meet daily for communication, support and a fair bit of banter. Our admin team is knowledgeable in signposting and workflow optimisation and we continue to advance in these areas. We are a well-established team and understand the need for work-life balance.
This Maternity locum post is for four to six sessions per week with good flexibility over the days and sessions. We would welcome interest from both experienced GPs and also newly qualified GPs. - Vacancy Details: We are keen to hear from any locum GPs who would like to join our friendly practice team at Main Street Medical Centre in Bridgeton to cover a period of Maternity leave. There are very good transport links with Bridgeton train station a short distance from the practice. Our premises are bespoke with good parking facilities.
We are a 4 partner training Practice, supported by 2 salaried GPs, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Healthcare Assistant and an experienced and friendly admin team. We also have a Community Links Practitioner, a Whole Family Wellbeing worker, good Pharmacy support, an Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist and a Welfare Advice worker.
We serve a population of approximately 8800 patients and currently use the hosted version of Vision/Docman. We operate a good balance of Telephone Consultations – ten minutes and Face to Face consultations – fifteen minutes. Our Clinical team meet daily for communication, support and good coffee. Our admin team is knowledgeable in signposting and workflow optimisation. We are a well-established team who try to maintain good work-life balance.
This Maternity locum post is for four sessions per week, ideally we need cover Monday & Wednesday. We would welcome interest from both experienced GPs and also newly qualified GPs.
