  An enthusiastic and motivated practice nurse is sought for a small friendly training practice in Glasgow. Hours can be negotiable. We are looking for a nurse who is organised and can work independently to start in March. We are a high achieving practice located in a health centre and comprise 2 GPs with attached health visitors, treatment room and district nurses.
  Duties would include chronic disease management, cervical screening, immunisation, phlebotomy and health promotion. Experience in practice nursing is desirable but training can be provided if necessary.
  A more experienced candidate would have the opportunity for triage, prescribing and teaching.

The practice is supported by attached Pharmacists, District Nurses, Health Visitors and a Community Link Worker.We are a longstanding accredited GP training practice currently teaching 5th year medical students in addition to ST1 & ST3 GP Registrars as well as supporting our own team to progress in knowledge and experience.All applicants should hold a valid NMC registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Ideally the successful candidate will have certified training in chronic disease management i.e. Asthma, Diabetes and COPD, and also be proficient in cervical cytology within a GP setting.
