- Vacancy Details: Due to upcoming staff retirement, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a GP Practice Nurse to join our well established team. We are flexible in terms of hours and will accept either full or part time hours.We are a well established GP Partnership across 2 prime, Glasgow south locations operating a split site practice between the Pollokshields and Giffnock areas. The practice looks after a population of circa 10,000 patients. We are a friendly and supportive practice with 7 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 2 GP trainees, ANP, Practice Nurse and Health Care Assistant.
The practice is supported by excellent transport links from M8, M74 and M77 and the Clyde Tunnel. We are a practice delivering high quality primary care services and are high achieving in relation to delivering our contractual requirements and enhanced services.
We are also an established training practice (ST1/3 and medical students).
Candidates should have in depth knowledge and experience in chronic disease management and cervical cytology, but training can be provided. Candidates should be NMC registered and have excellent IT skills (emis/docman). Candidates will be expected to work collaboratively with the whole practice team as well as delivering safe, effective, evidence based care to patients.
