General Practice Nurse Position – part time – 24 hours, Lightburn Medical Centre

We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic part-time (24 hours/week) practice nurse to join our supportive, friendly, forward-thinking team.

We have 3 partners looking after 3410 patients in the East end of Glasgow. We are part of the Parkhead/Cranhill Cluster and the Deep End Group. We provide high quality primary care in modern premises. We have excellent support staff including a health care assistant, attached pharmacotherapy team, and CLW. We are a GP training practice.

Ideally the successful candidate will have certified training in chronic disease management i.e. Asthma, Diabetes and COPD, and be proficient in cervical cytology, and sexual health/family planning. An Independent prescribing qualification would be an advantage. We use EMIS and Docman, but can provide training on these if required. Our ideal start date is April 26.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience. We are also happy to discuss shift patterns.
