Denbridge Medical Practice
Due to Staff Retirement, we are looking for 1 new staff member to join our friendly, forward thinking practice team. This vacancy is for a permanent position within the team. We are looking for cover of between 12.5hr to 17hrs per week and must be either of the shifts below:
Shift 1 – Monday to Friday 4pm to 6.30pm (12.5hrs per week)
Shift 2 – Monday & Thursday 10am to 6.30pm (17hrs per week)
We may be open to increased hours and this can be discussed at interview or via email prior to submitting application.
We are a busy training practice located in Bearsden with a list size of 9,600 patients. We use both EMIS and DOCMAN computer systems. Previous experience of working in a GP practice is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
Our ideal candidate should be an excellent communicator with outstanding listening, telephone and computer skills. These skills are vital to enable our patients to be signposted to the correct service. You will be required to undertake a full range of administration duties, including dealing with patients in person and by phone, offering an efficient, courteous and confidential service at all times. You must also be flexible to cover staff absences and holidays when required.
We are looking for someone who works well under pressure and within a team, but also has the ability to work well alone.
This post will include 25 days annual leave plus all bank holidays (Pro rata for 2 day option). You will also be eligible for the NHS Pension scheme. Salary stated on advert is for full time hours, salary will be pro rata as per hours worked.
