Practice Nurse, Allander Surgery

Location: Allander Surgery, 191 Denmark Street, Glasgow, G22 5SS
Hours: Part time – around 25 hours a week (hours and days worked negotiable)
Salary: Depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chronic disease management, cervical screening, and general practice nursing.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality care for patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, and hypertension.
• Perform cervical cytology screening in line with national guidelines.
• Deliver general nursing duties including health promotion and contraception reviews.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to practice protocols and policies.

Essential Requirements
• Registered Nurse (NMC registration).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable
• Experience in chronic disease management and cervical screening.
• Confidence in managing results on docman
