Receptionist GP Surgery, Battlefield Surgery

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, honest and reliable Receptionist to join our small team on a part time permanent basis.The surgery is open between 8.30am and 6pm and the successful candidate should be willing to work during these times. The surgery is open Monday to Friday. After training your shift pattern may require you to open and close the surgery.The post will be for 24 hours per week.Due to having a small staff numbers, it is vital that the successful candidate will be able to provide additional cover during annual leave or other staff absence.Ideally you will have experience of working in a GP surgery or hospital reception setting. You will be required to meet and greet patients with a friendly welcoming manner, will be able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.This role requires excellent communication and IT skills. Fantastic attention to detail and a focus on getting things right first time are essential. The role will include dealing with administrative queries from patients & clinicians, arranging appointments in person and by telephone plus giving test results and messages to patients. Additionally, appropriate signposting to other services is also required. Arranging prescription requests with accurate filing ready for collection, processing patient registrations and other administrative duties as required by the practice is also part of the role. An ability to audio type may also be beneficial. Experience of medical terminology would be of help. It is vital you are a team player also with the ability to work on your own.The practice uses the Vision clinical system and docman.

Part Time Receptionist, Kinfauns Medical Practice

We are based in Drumchapel Health Centre and have an approximate list size of 2800 patients. We have 2 GPs, a Practice Manager, a part time HCSW, 3 receptionists and a full time Community Link Practitioner. The post is for 20 hours per week and the hours are Monday-Friday 2-6pm, negotiable. Experience would be preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. This post would be starting at the beginning of July or early August.
