Strathgryffe Medical Practice covers a population of approximately 10,700 patients.
It is a split site practice with surgeries in the villages of Houston and Bridge of Weir, Renfrewshire, within easy reach of the M8 motorway. Our catchment areas include these two villages and historic patients in the surrounding villages of Kilmacolm, Kilbarchan and Brookfield.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious, friendly and supportive team, working as a Salaried GP. The post is for 6 sessions on a Wednesday/Thursday and Friday starting late May/Early June 2026.
We have an enthusiastic, dedicated team consisting of three GP partners, five Salaried GPs, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, two part-time practice nurses, and a full complement of administrative staff led by our Practice Manager. We also have attached healthcare workers such as mental health OT’s, Community link worker, a support pharmacist and a phlebotomist.
We have been a training practice since 2007 and take doctors in training at FY2, ST1 and ST3 level. We also teach undergraduate medical students from The University of Glasgow.
