Practice Nurse, Annfield Medical Centre

Annfield Medical Centre is seeking a part time Practice Nurse for approximately 8 hours per week. Day(s) flexible. Salary negotiable.

We are a very small and friendly single handed practice based in Dennistoun, Glasgow. We have a current practice population of 2400 patients and use EMIS and Docman. Our practice staff consists of 1 GP Partner, 1 GP Locum, 4 well established and experienced practice administrators and a Practice Manager.

Experience in Chronic Disease Management (Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, CHD, CKD, Hypertension) and Cervical Cytology is essential plus core nursing skills of wound care, phlebotomy, injections etc (though it is important to note that this is not a large part of the role as many of these services are provided by the Community Treatment and Care service).

All applicants should have the ability to work independently and hold a valid NMC registration and Enhanced Disclosure.
