Newhills Medical Practice is a friendly, supportive and busy practice looking to recruit to our administration team.
The post offers up to 25 hrs in this afternoon role, finishing at 5/5.30pm Monday to Friday. No weekend working.
The successful candidate must have good IT skills, be hardworking and reliable. Experience in general practice would be an advantage for the successful candidate, however it is not essential, as training and support will be provided. Previous experience in working with the general public would be desirable.
Applicants must have an excellent telephone manner, as well as good communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be a team player, be able to work under pressure, prioritise their workload but remain calm whilst maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
Duties will involve working at reception, answering telephones, using IT (EMIS, DOCMAN and word), dealing with patient enquiries, processing repeat prescription requests and scanning. Salary will be dependent on experience.
