About Our Practice:
The Team & Culture: We are a GP led Practice, valuing the importance of safe clinical care, continuity of care and innovation. We are a team of three experienced GPs, with a stable work force; opportunities for joining our Practice previously have only arisen through retirement. We have a Practice Nurse, in-house Pharmacist and a Community Link Worker. We encourage a highly collaborative environment with daily peer support, a manageable workload, and robust administrative backing.

Demographics: We have diverse patient population of around 5,400 patients, blending a student community with young professionals and multi-generational families.
Special interests: We encourage and support special interests and professional development. Currently we offer joint injections, contraceptive implants and IUD insertions.

Medical education: We host clinical attachments for medical students from University College London.
Film & TV Sector Work: In addition to our NHS work we run an established Film and TV business providing cast medicals and private consultations to the industry.

Health Centre: We are fortunate to work in a high quality clinical environment within a purpose built modern Health Centre. We have on-site Pharmacy, Treatment room, Physiotherapy, Psychiatry etc.

Systems: We utilise EMIS and Docman for efficient, streamlined workflow management.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality care through face-to-face appointments, telephone consultations and triage. Pro-rata Duty Doctor rota. Minimal House call

Partnership Duties (If applicable): Contribute to the strategic decision-making, business development, and financial planning of the practice.

Administration: Complete routine administrative tasks efficiently, with strong support from our administrative team to minimize clinical burden.

Person Specification:

Essential Criteria:

Qualifications: Medical Degree and Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice.
Registrations: Full GMC registration with a license to practice, and inclusion on the NHS Scotland GP Performers List.
Skills: Strong clinical decision-making, excellent communication, and an empathetic approach to a culturally diverse patient base.

Remuneration & Benefits:
Salaried: Highly competitive, based on BMA contract.

Partnership: Competitive parity drawings with zero property buy-in required (Health Centre based).
Annual Leave: 7 weeks annual leave (pro rata) plus public holidays.
Additional Benefits: NHS Scotland Pension, BMA model contract (salaried).
