GP Partner, Gairbraid Medical Practice

• Vacancy Details: Gairbraid Medical Practice is seeking a 6-7 session Partner to replace a retiring Partner.
  We are an established training practice with 6 GP Partners. We are based in Maryhill Health and Care Centre in North West Glasgow, which was built in 2016 and has the full array of in house services to meet the requirements of the 2018 GMS contract in Scotland.
  We are located in Glasgow’s West End with excellent transport links. We are a friendly, supportive, well organised practice with an excellent practice team and are a consistently high achieving practice. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic GP who will be an asset to our team. The post would attract a Golden Hello payment. Start date 4th November 2024, but we are willing to wait for the right candidate. Applicants are welcome to visit informally or take ad hoc locum sessions to get a feel for the Practice. We are looking for a Partner to work full day Monday and Friday with negotiable other sessions.

Salaried GP, Parade Group Practice

• Vacancy Details: We are looking to recruit a dedicated enthusiastic GP to join our friendly supportive team at Townhead Health Centre in Glasgow Royal Infirmary Queen Elizabeth Building, off Alexandra Parade. We are a 6 doctor practice with a very experienced admin/reception team. There is support within the practice with HCA’s and Practice Nurse activity. We also have an excellent treatment room on site and Heath Visitor colleagues for support along with District Nurse provision. We also have a pharmacy team of 3, a mix of experienced pharmacists and technicians. We also have a Welfare Rights worker and Community Link worker full-time in the practice. We are a warm, welcoming and friendly practice with an excellent administrative team. We are attached to Glasgow University and take third year medical students as well as some other student projects. We are an EMIS practice using Docman clinical system. GP Retainer Vacancy, Barony Medical Centre

• Practice Details: Barony Medical Centre located in Springburn are looking to recruit a GP Retainer.
  The Practice consists of 5 partners, ANP, Practice Nurse, HCSW, a Link Worker, Welfare Advisor, an excellent Administration Team, attached District Nursing, Pharmacotherapy Service, and Health Visitors. The Practice also have access to the HSCP Treatment room and Phlebotomy Service.
  The post is for 4 sessions with days negotiable. We can offer a session non-clinical administration session every fortnight. We offer 15 minute appointments and low house visit rate (triaged prior to acceptance). We have a weekly staff coffee meeting, monthly educational meetings (helps with the CPD), and we meet for lunch daily. The Practice also has a “Gym” for those who like to exercise, and easy access to Tesco, Costco, Lidl and local coffee shops.
  We offer flexible working to allow for childcare arrangements like nursery or school drop-offs/pick-ups. The retainer can be part of the duty GP on-call with home visits only if they would wish to be for the variation in their working day.

  • We currently have 4 partners,1 ANP and 2 PNs.
  • Our highly skilled reception team signpost and triage appointment requests to ensure that patients receive the right care, first time.
  • We have an experienced Practice Manager and Deputy PM.
  • Support from our Practice Pharmacy team is appreciated, as is support from our Social Prescriber, Mental Health Occupational Health Team, Phlebotomists, District Nurse and Health Visitors.

Salaried GP – Dr Harris & Partners

• Vacancy Details: We are looking to recruit a Salaried GP to join our supportive team for 3 sessions per week (Tuesday morning & Friday). We are located within the Springburn Health Centre and have many resources available to us. Our clinical team consists of five GP partners, two long-term locums, two practice nurses, a physiotherapist, a pharmacy support team, and a health care support worker. We are also a training practice, with two GP registrars for the majority of the year. We have a list size of 7300 patients, and a mixed demographic. Our practice uses EMIS & Docman, IT training will be provided for any unfamiliar systems.

  We offer 15 minute appointments, and have a somewhat low house call rate (triaged prior to acceptance). An ideal candidate would be willing to cover on call commitments on a Friday if needed to cover annual leave or sickness.
