- Vacancy Details: GP Locum, Long Term – Dr Fraser & Partners, Govanhill Health CentreDue to retirement of our Senior Partner, Practice A in Govanhill Health Centre is looking for a motivated long term locum to join our friendly practice (6-8 sessions per week), with the potential for a permanent post.We are located in the vibrant and diverse area of Govanhill, with a current patient list of 6,000. Our team consists for 3 partners, a salaried GP, Nurse and Health Care Support Worker. We have additional support from our in-house Pharmacist, Physiotherapist and community Links Worker. In addition we have an excellent treatment room, and well support by an experienced team of Health Visitors and District Nurses. We are a training Practice for Medical Students and FY2, ST1 & ST3 Trainees.Surgeries are 2 hours, with a mix of Face to Face and Telephone consultations. Admin time is built into each day, to allow for results and prescriptions. EMIS and Docman is used in the Practice.

Maternity Locum- Bridgeton Health Centre

- Vacancy Details: We are looking for a 4 session maternity cover to commence October 2024 for approximately 9 -12months. We require 4 sessions per week covering a Tuesday and Friday.We are a small practice of just over 3000 patients in Bridgeton Health Centre Glasgow. We have 2 partners , 1 Salaried partner and a FY2, there are 2/3 doctors in daily. We are supported by a Practice Nurse, pharmacist, pharmacy hub. Our admin staff are very helpful.We use Emis and operate a pre-bookable system with on the day appointments also and offer a combination of face to face and telephone appointments.We are a happy workplace and value the good relationships we have between our partners and practice staff.Duties will involve routine and emergency appointments, home visits which are not frequent, docman, actioning bloods and acute prescriptions.We would actively encourage an informal visit to any candidate who may be interested.

Long Term Locum, Parade Group
- Vacancy Details: We are looking to recruit a dedicated enthusiastic GP to join our friendly supportive team at Townhead Health Centre in Glasgow Royal Infirmary Queen Elizabeth Building, off Alexandra Parade. We are a 6 doctor practice with a very experienced admin/reception team. There is support within the practice with HCA’s and Practice Nurse activity. We also have an excellent treatment room on site and Heath Visitor colleagues for support along with District Nurse provision. We also have a pharmacy team of 3, a mix of experienced pharmacists and technicians. We also have a Welfare Rights worker (one day per week) and Community Link worker full-time in the practice. We are a warm, welcoming and friendly practice with an excellent administrative team. We are attached to Glasgow University and take third year medical students as well as some other student projects. We are an EMIS practice using Docman clinical system. We have an exceptionally low house visit rate. We are very aware of the well-being of our team and so encourage a sustainable work/life balance. We are very flexible in our approach, 6-8 sessions per week post. The positioning of the practice within the Royal Infirmary allows for a varied approach to GP careers including dovetailing with sessional posts in the Royal Infirmary. We have regular practice meetings on a weekly basis and we are a forward thinking practice and are committed to improving patient care and our working day arrangements .
