Advanced Nurse/Paramedic Practitioner, The Silver Burn Medical Practice

The Silver Burn Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Nurse/Paramedic Practitioner for a permanent ANP/APP post.
We are a Deep End practice, situated within The Pollok Health Centre.
You would be supported by 1 GP Partner, 4 Long-term Locums, 1 Practice Nurse and HCSW, Practice Manager and our experienced Admin team. We have an excellent District Nursing Team and Health Visiting Team and are fortunate to have 2 Prescribing Support Pharmacists, 1 Pharmacy Technician, Money Advisor a full time Links Practitioner who helps connect patients to community resources and organises teaching events for staff to allow us to be familiar with all that is on offer for our patients within our community.

We have 6100 patients, we use Emis, Docman and engage electronic triage, signposting and workflow optimisation to ease demand.
The post holder will work as an expert clinical practitioner responsible for providing expert clinical care and management of both the stable and acutely unwell, making complex, autonomous decisions using advanced skills and knowledge. They will have overall responsibility for the assessment of care needs and the delivery of advanced nursing care, to a level equivalent to that of junior grade medical staff. The post holder will be an experienced practitioner, who acting within their professional boundaries will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care. They would provide acute prescriptions, triage using the Footfall electronic system, action docman results, and would be encouraged in areas of specialist interest. Hours are negotiable with successful candidate.

Qualifications
• Registered nurse/paramedic (Required)
• Independent Prescriber (Required)
• Master’s degree in Advanced Nurse Practice or equivalent (Required)
• ANP/APP: 1 years’ experience (Preferred)
