Mains Medical Centre in Erskine is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly team. This is due to the upcoming retirement of one of our current Nurse Practitioners.
This role would be 3-4 days per week starting from early September 2026.
Our 6 GPs would support you in your role along with 2 additional long term Nurse Practitioners, 1 Practice Nurse and 1 Prescribing Pharmacist. Our team also includes Community Link Worker, Phlebotomy team, experienced Reception, Administration and Practice Management team.
We would be looking for a candidate with:
• Nursing Registration (NMC)
• Independent Prescribing Qualification
• Masters in Advance Nurse Practice or similar
• Ability to triage, assess and manage acute and chronic conditions in patients
• Ability to manage results via DOCMAN
We have a list size of 9000 patients, and have just transitioned from EMIS to Vision and use DOCMAN, and Lexacom (if needed for dictation).
Our Practice is located on a purpose built site the centre of Erskine, which is a leafy, family-friendly town just to the West of Glasgow. Erskine is on the south side of the Erskine Bridge and is easily reached from Glasgow, East and West Dumbartonshire and Renfrewshire.
