Anchor Mill Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic GP to join our friendly, established training practice, to provide maternity leave cover. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a welcoming and highly supportive multidisciplinary team, serving a diverse and engaging patient population in Paisley.
Although this post is offered as maternity leave cover, we expect opportunities for future development within the practice and would be keen to hear from GPs seeking a role that could potentially lead to a longer-term position.
Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced GP, you will find a collaborative environment where clinicians are supported, valued and able to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

You’ll be joining a stable, experienced practice with:
List size of approximately 9,700 patients
Eight supportive GP partners and salaried GPs
Prescribing ANP and experienced nursing team
Dedicated and knowledgeable reception and administrative teams
Excellent HSCP support including pharmacists, phlebotomists, community links worker, wellbeing nurse and paramedics
A recognised GP training practice with a commitment to learning and professional development
Purpose-built premises with on-site staff parking
Excellent transport links and easy access to the M8

Our patient population is varied and rewarding, providing an interesting mix of clinical presentations and the opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships.

The Role:
Up to 6 sessions per week
Core days: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
While our preferred days are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, we are happy to discuss alternative working patterns for the right candidate
Shared on-call afternoon rota with GP colleagues
Mix of 12- and 15-minute appointments
Balance of pre-bookable and same-day appointments
Vision and Docman clinical systems (full support and training available)

Is GMC registered and licensed to practise
