| The Broomhill Practice is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated practice nurse to join our team. We are a friendly training practice in the west end of Glasgow with five GP partners, two salaried GPs, one practice nurse, one health care assistant, a practice manager, assistant practice manager and our admin team. We use both EMIS and DOCMAN. Our list size is just over 7000 patients. We are also supported by a pharmacy team and physiotherapist.
We are seeking to appoint either one full-time Practice Nurse or up to two part-time Practice Nurses. We are flexible regarding working hours and welcome applications from candidates seeking between 20 and 37 hours per week. Ideally the candidate will be experienced in all aspects of practice nursing with a focus on Chronic Disease Management, cervical screening, contraception reviews and sexual health. Independent Nurse prescribing would also be desirable but not essential. Applications from other nursing sectors may be considered if transferable skills can be demonstrated. Support will be provided to ensure you are able to continue with professional development. All applicants should hold valid NMC registration, Enhanced Disclosure and be eligible to work in the UK.
