Practice Nurse, Tollcross Medical Centre

Tollcross Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Practice Nurse to join our friendly, forward-thinking practice in the East End of Glasgow.

We are an established GP training practice, with a strong ethos of education, innovation and quality improvement. We have a multidisciplinary team of GPs, Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, Health Care Assistant, Pharmacists and Community Links Worker, all supported by our Practice Manager, PA and experienced admin team.

• List size approximately 8,900 patients

• Mixed age population with significant multimorbidity in older adults

• High levels of socioeconomic deprivation with the practice serving a community in the Scottish Deep End

• Diverse care needs with a high volume of chronic disease

Skills and experience:

We are looking for a confident and friendly practice nurse with experience in Chronic Disease Management, Women’s Health including Smears and Contraception, Health promotion and lifestyle advice, also other duties associated with a Practice Nurse in a busy practice such as stock control, emergency bag management and infection control.

We are ideally looking for full time, but this can be negotiable. Salary competitive dependent on experience.
