Practice Nurse, Tollcross Medical Centre

Tollcross Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Practice Nurse to join our friendly, forward-thinking practice in the East End of Glasgow. We are an established GP training practice with a strong ethos of education, innovation and quality improvement.

We have a multidisciplinary team of GPs, Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, Health Care Assistant, Pharmacists and Community Links Worker, all supported by our Practice Manager, PA and experienced admin team.

Patient Demographics:
• List size approximately 8,700 patients
• Diverse care needs with a high volume of chronic disease

Skills and experience:
We are looking for a confident and friendly practice nurse with experience in Chronic Disease Management, Women’s Health including Smears and Contraception, Health promotion and lifestyle advice and other duties associated with a Practice Nurse in a busy practice such as stock control, emergency bag management and infection control.

We are ideally looking for 4 days per week with potential to increase to 5 if desired. Salary competitive dependent on experience.
