Salaried GP, Dr Datta & Dr McGill

We are looking for a 4 – 8 session Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive, training practice in Cardonald. Ideally suited to someone seeking an excellent work-life balance within a well-established and welcoming practice.

Our practice is based in Cardonald, within a modern purpose built Medical Centre with ample on-site parking and excellent transport links, located just five minutes from the M8. We cover a wide area in the south side of Glasgow and have a diverse and wide ranging mix of patients with differing needs. We currently provide our services to around 5,150 patients.

We are a well established Training Practice and have been training GP’s for over 20 years. Our Clinical Practice Team includes 2 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GP’s, 2GP Trainees, 1 ANP, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Health Care Assistant along with excellent Pharmacy support. Our clinical team are supported by our experienced admin support staff. We also benefit from access to an on-site NHS GGC Treatment Room, along with the recently opened GP Walk in Clinic.

The practice operates EMIS Web and Docman and offers a positive, team-focused culture where staff are valued and supported. We use an e-consult system to assist triage appointments, enabling us to prioritise continuity of care.

We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment. Regular multidisciplinary meetings with our District Nursing and Health Visiting teams help ensure excellent communication and continuity of care. We are also committed to supporting clinicians in developing their own professional interests and areas of expertise.
