An opportunity has arisen for a Salaried GP to join Oakview Medical Practice, a well-established and supportive GP Partnership based in Alexandria. This post is available due to planned adjustments in GP sessions.
Our preferred start date is April 2026, although there is flexibility to accommodate an earlier or later start for the right candidate.
About the Practice
Oakview Medical Practice is a forward-thinking GP Partnership operating across two modern sites:
• The Vale Centre for Health & Care
• Renton Integrated Healthy Living Centre
We provide care to approximately 9,400 patients and are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
The practice uses askmyGP for asynchronous consulting as part of its approach to flexible patient access. Training and support will be provided for clinicians who are new to this system.
The Team
The practice is supported by a well-established multidisciplinary team, including:
• 10 GP Partners
• 1 Salaried GP
• 3 Practice Nurses
• Practice Pharmacist
• 3 PCIP Pharmacists
• 2 Phlebotomists
• Physiotherapist
• Community Link Worker
• An experienced administrative team
Additional support includes:
• On-site Health Board Treatment Room Service
• District Nursing and Health Visitor teams

Candidate Requirements
Applicants must:
• Be GMC registered and on the GP Register
