Lochview Medical Practice is seeking a Salaried GP to join our established and supportive team in Greenock.
We offer 4–8 sessions, with flexibility around working days and configuration to suit the right candidate. However, availability to work on Fridays is essential.
We are open to appointing one GP or, depending on interest and availability, splitting the sessions between two suitable candidates.
We welcome GPs who are looking for a substantive salaried position, and would be happy to consider the possibility of future partnership for a suitable candidate, where there is a good mutual fit and shared vision for the practice.

We are an established GP training practice caring for approximately 10,500 patients, based within the modern, purpose-built Greenock Health & Care Centre. Our clinical model enables GPs to focus on work requiring GP expertise, supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Our core clinical team includes:
• 7 GP Partners
• 2 Salaried GPs
• 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners
• 2 General Practice Nurses
• an extensive multidisciplinary team combining practice-employed and HSCP colleagues
• an experienced Practice Management team
• an established administration and reception team

A working day designed to be sustainable
Our working day is structured to support high-quality care and a sustainable workload.
• 15-minute appointments
• protected administration time
• regular clinical review meetings supporting good clinical governance, shared learning and collaborative decision-making
• daily coffee and informal team catch-up
The role
We are looking for a GP who will become an active member of our practice team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our GP and multidisciplinary colleagues.
We welcome applications from newly qualified, locum and experienced GPs seeking a substantive role within an established practice. We are particularly keen to support colleagues who wish to develop their own areas of interest and contribute to the continued development of the practice.
Terms and location
Permanent Salaried GP position
4–8 sessions, with some flexibility around working pattern
Salary: Competitive and negotiable, dependent on experience. Eligible candidates may be entitled to a one-off Golden Hello payment of up to £11,073 from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

Greenock is approximately 30 minutes from central Glasgow, offering easy access to the Clyde coast and the countryside of Inverclyde.
