4 session, Salaried GP – Kinfauns Medical Practice

Due to clinical session expansion, Kinfauns Practice are keen to add in a 4th doctor to our friendly team.
We are based in Drumchapel Health Centre- easily accessed by motorway and public transport. We have on site parking and lots of lunch options across the road.
The health centre has treatment room, and all allied health professionals on site or nearby. We are usually a 3 doctor practice- 2 partners and a salaried GP, and a steady list size of 3000. We have an excellent pharmacy, link worker and HCA team in the surgery, and work well with our health visitor and district nursing colleagues. We have an active and collaborative cluster, and a nurse that works with us each month.
We are still emis and docman for now, and are BMA compliant with 15 minute appointments and max 25 patient contacts a day. We rarely have house visits, and share admin fairly. We do not have or need a duty doctor system.
We are keen for a 4 sessions salaried doctor, but would consider long term locum. The days required for cover are, all day Thursday and Friday – and the start date is beginning of August. There will be more sessions to max 6 per week, from the following tax year. Our focus is on continuity of care for our deep end community and are keen for a new colleague interested in improving health inequalities.
