Williamwood Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated GP to join our friendly and supportive team.
We are a well-established GP training practice located in Clarkston, on the south side of Glasgow. Based in modern, purpose-built premises with an on-site pharmacy and ample parking, we provide high-quality primary care services to a practice population of approximately 11,300 patients.

You will be joining a well-established multidisciplinary team comprising:
4 GP Partners
3 Salaried GPs
GP Registrars
Prescribing Clinical Pharmacist
Advanced Practice Physiotherapist
Practice Nurse
Healthcare Assistants

Alongside our clinical staff, we have an experienced and dedicated administrative team led by an established Practice Manager.
We work closely with our District Nursing and Health Visiting colleagues and maintain excellent relationships with the wider primary care team. As a training practice, we actively support GP trainees and medical students from the University of Glasgow and encourage a culture of continuous learning and development.

The Role:

The successful candidate will:
Undertake 4 – 6 clinical sessions per week
Work within a supportive and collaborative clinical team
Have opportunities to develop individual clinical interests
Contribute to teaching and training where desired
Benefit from well organised systems and excellent administrative support

Our appointment system includes a mix of pre booked face-to-face consultations, telephone appointments and same day urgent care. We also provide GP services to local care home residents.
