GP Locum – Maternity Leave Cover, Anchor Mill Medical Practice

6 Sessions per Week From August 2026

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic GP to join our large, friendly training practice in Paisley, covering a period of maternity leave.
The Role:
• 6 sessions per week
• Core days required: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
(some flexibility and negotiation on days worked may be possible)
• Includes a shared rota of on call afternoons
• Mix of 12 and 15 minute appointments
• Combination of pre bookable and same day work

About the Practice:
• Training practice with a list size of approximately 9,600
• Vision and Docman clinical systems, training available for Vision if required.
• Well established, multidisciplinary team including:
o 8 GPs
o Prescribing ANP
o Experienced and supportive reception and management team
o Supported by HSCP team of Pharmacists, Phlebotomists, Community Links Worker, Well Being Nurse and Paramedics
• Mixed and interesting patient demographic, reflecting the local community
• Purpose built premises with easy access to M8 and staff parking

We are a supportive and sociable practice, with a strong team ethos and daily coffee catch ups that reflect how we work together.

• Newly qualified and experienced GPs both very welcome
